NetSuite Helps Outdoor Products Distributor Grow 95% Without New Staff

2Pure UK, an Edinburgh, United Kingdom based wholesale distributor of outdoor products, needed an efficient way to promote specific brands through multiple websites using software compatible with both Macs and PCs. The company was experiencing rapid growth, and required an accessible, user-friendly system to scale with the business.

2Pure selected NetSuite for their ERP, CRM, and ecommerce needs as a way to move away from their previous model which used disparate systems from a variety of other vendors. NetSuite's role-assigned dashboards allowed various staff to manage everything from CRM and Ecommerce to stock control and accounting as well as administer multiple websites for separate product brands.

As a result of making the switch to NewSuite, the following business outcomes were achieved:

• The new system helped to support a 95% increase in revenues without additional staff.
• Due to the system's integrated business processes, sales staff reported an increase of 25% of available time no longer spent on manual processes.
• Warehouse distribution efficiencies reduced the need for warehouse space by 40%.
• Browser-based access allows Mac and PC users the same access and user-experience.

Kaman Deploys Infor, Boosts Savings

Infor, an international provider of business application software, recently announced that Kaman Industrial Technologies has successfully implemented Infor Distribution SX.e at 15 locations.

Based in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Kaman Industrial Technologies is a subsidiary of Kaman Corporation that provides a wide range of products and systems for the MRO and OEM markets. With almost 200 branches and major regional distribution centers, Kaman is one of North America's largest industrial distributors.

Kaman will rely upon Infor ION, a flexible middleware platform, to enable integration between Infor Lawson Financials and Infor SX.e. These 15 locations represent the first phase of Kaman's plan to convert multiple, disparate enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems supporting hundreds of locations across the U.S. Once fully deployed, Infor SX.e will provide employees with greater visibility across the enterprise and create the ability for aggregation and analysis of information from both systems; simultaneously facilitating better-informed decision-making.

Kaman elected to implement Infor SX.e to better position the company for future growth, while improving the customer experience and facilitating greater collaboration between sales units at different locations. By reducing the number of disparate technology environments, Kaman will be better equipped to expand product and service offerings to help increase sales. Infor SX.e will also facilitate savings by providing tools to enable more effective ordering.

Royal Corporation Grows Distribution With Epicor

Royal Corporation, a Santa Fe Springs, California based distributor of janitorial/sanitary maintenance supplies, was founded in 1985. The company has 90 employees in three locations, with distribution centers in Wisconsin and Tennessee. As one of the premier suppliers to the movie theater industry, Royal Corporation offers a “one-stop shop” for janitorial/sanitary supplies, disposables for food concessions and services to both national and regional movie theater chains. Outside of this business focus, Royal also provides supplies and services to school districts, universities, hotel chains, and municipal governments.

As the company grew, current legacy solutions were no longer deemed adequate for providing quality customer care and inventory tracking. Warehouse efficiency, electronic ordering, improved customer service, and overall system-wide improvement was required. Royal Corporation selected Epicor enterprise resource planning system(ERP) with a wireless warehouse management solution.

Over time, the benefits of making the switch to Epicor have included:
• Helped to increase sales by 30-40% without increasing staff headcount
• 70%+ of orders are received electronically, resulting in cost savings
• Staff training requires less time, and
• Accuracy greatly improved for picking and shipping.
